Gorillaz is a neat virtual band wish some rather weird videos. I love their stuff. Evidently, they are now doing live performances. The technology used is something akin to the Pepper’s Ghost parlor trick. You can find a video of their live performance from the MTV Europe music awards and also the Grammy awards at this site.
Gorillaz take to the stage to play “Feel Good Inc” live.
The world’s more popular virtual band had just won Best Group at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Lisbon on November 3rd, 2005.
Just a note to point me back to a potential program to use on Fenrir. It"s a neat RSS aggregator that I might try to install.

I found this software through a Download Squad story. The system has utilities and features to help prioritize, sort, and hammer through the massive amount of emails I can get. I can get to the important items fast, and sort them really quick.

Go check it out! They have a new beta that was recently released for version 2. I have not tried the beta yet. If the current release is a indicator of the next version, version 2 should be even better!
I wandered upon some fun videos on Google videos today. Here"s a few of the fun ones.
Have fun!
Mini-Van + Fire Hydrant = Great Picture!
A California woman accidentally backed the vehicle over the hydrant. The water pressure was so great that it lifted the tail off the ground.
The car stood poised on its noise for several minutes.

I am looking to get a little bit better at planning and goal setting. One site I have been reading is Steve Pavlina"s blog. He gives some insights on planning, goals, and a number of personal improvement areas. It gives me some good ideas here and there to work into my own rythme, which feels like it is getting in utter chaos.
One thing he mentions is a book on planning that I am thinking to hunt down, or borrow from the library. The book is on how to get your plans done effectively. Something I could use some more work at.
David Allen’s excellent Getting Things Done
Quarterly Planning Time
Update: Looks like I don’t need to go get it, I already have it! I bought it a while ago when looking for time management books. Now I just have to push it in my book queue.
Via Slashdot, I found this nice piece of software called Foxit Reader. It is much smaller and faster than Adobe"s PDF reader. I find that a huge bonus as Adobe Reader is bloated and slow. This app works great so far.
Foxit Reader is a free reader for PDF (eBook) documents. You can view and print PDF documents with it.

You don’t actually have to take the quiz. Just read this straight through, and you’ll get the point (an awesome one) that it is trying to make!
Take this quiz:
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America contest.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade’s worth of World Series winners.
How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields.
But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten.
Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.
Here’s another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
6. Name half a dozen heroes whose stories have inspired you.
Easier?
The lesson:
The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards.
They are the ones that care.
Pass this on to those people who have made a difference in your life.
